Hi I have a doubt .. I am opening my file in visual studio 8 and I am not able to perform any action like comment uncomment, basically the file shows the XML tag at the 1st line but opened as a text file..

Android studio doesn't make a layout folder for me. I tried making a new project and it still won't make a layout folder and by default an activity_main.xml file. What am I doing wrong? Was it removed in the new android studio update? Because It wasn't like that 2 days ago before I updated android studio. Please help
