Well, if I plan on driving through Massachusetts in military fatigues, with an AR slung over my shoulder, in the middle of the night, I am going to check to see if my gas tank is full first.

This describes everyone that has to use I-95 to get to Maine from Rhode Island during hunting season. People wearing Camouflage gear heavily armed with rifles, shotguns and handguns. Since when does one need a carry permit from Massachusetts to drive on I-95.

Im sure if they had cased their weapons in transport this would not be an issue. Standing on the side of the road heavily armed brings much attention. A little research on the laws of the area they were traveling through would have been helpful.
