The way i think of it is if you have 0.37
You get rid of the 0
You then think which is bigger and in the shortest range that is either 10, 100, 1000 so on ...
Then you use that number as the denominator
And the decimal as the numerator
So the closest one for 37 is 100
So it would be
37/100
As the fraction
Or thirty seven over one hundred
Hope this helps

For those who do not understand. If you have 0.1 as a fraction that is 1/10 if you have 0.25 that will be 25/100 if you have 0.325 that would be 325/1000. Notice the pattern: for every digit you have after 0, that is how many 0's you will add to the 1 as the denominator. Dont forget to simplify the fractions as low as possible.

A lot of people say they are still having trouble getting it. The trick is to watch multiple explanations of one mathematical concept. So watch different explanations of how to convert decimals to fractions. Because one person may explain it in a way you kind of understand, but multiple people will explain it in many ways that you will understand it all.
