I'm a food and meat lover. Day 1 of having braces and that blue thing on both sides of my back teeth. Now I can't hardly chew my everday foods like rice and beef or chicken. My top and bottom teeth are not touching. Definetly need my Ortho to do some adjustment ASAP😂

I had a deep bite and some cross bite. Got damon braces with bite blocks today as an adult 😭I was not prepared for these bite blocks. How am I supposed to chew with just one tooth (bite block) on either side touching my lower teeth? Especially as someone that suffers from IBS C already and doesn't know enough to control it. Like I just live on pears dude. And I live in a hostel with no access to a kitchen so my cooking is limited. Getting a blender today so hopefully I'll be able to live on fruit smoothies.

I have a child that's 14 turning 15 in July and has been wearing braces since January but sadly has an severe overjet. Since jaw surgery is expensive we've been considering on an extraction of her teeth but I feel wary about the expenses and of result of it. That's why we're thinking of elastics but we don't know for sure if it'll work.

I got braces today and they put bite stoppers on my teeth as well BUT they are really long and I can’t eat anything. I keep looking for a solution but the only thing I can find is people saying that you need to start with soft food but I can’t chew regardless. 😢
Edit: my bite stoppers are like skinny thingies sitting on the back part of my molar so I have to bite accurately or else it will hurt.

I've had braces and "Turbos" in for 1 day and I haven't figured out how to chew and it's really annoying. Thank God for instant mashed potatoes and applesauce I guess? 1 day down, 729 days to go.😒😁

How do I take them off at home? One of them fell off, and my orthodontist didn’t fix it when I went in so I want it off

Can these bite pads shift my teeth deeper into my gums??? I’m worried over the course of 2 months with these on my teeth, that I may have bitten down to much and caused irreversible movement with my upper teeth. I have braces on the top and the bite pads on my bottom molars. Mouth still feels weird, but thankful for any feedback and the process. I appreciate this insightful video. Also, my daughter keeps grinding down her bite pads (they placed hers on the top molars)… she’s almost biting her brackets. Should I tell them they should put it on the bottom and not the top molars. This will be round 3??? Thank you all again

i got braces in august and also had these placed plus elastics to fix my overbite all in the same appointment, i had one pad on each side of my mouth but one has fallen out so now i just have one bite pad left, does that matter urgently, will it affect my treatment if i leave it until my next apppontment or do i need to book in for an emergency appointment.
