Acoustic G120 DSP Combo Amp

In the following video, Guitar World's Paul Riario looks at a new combo amp from Acoustic, the G120 DSP. This 120-watt, two-channel solid-state amp has two 12-inch speakers, 16 digital effects presets, and a three-band EQ section with semi-parametric mids and a mid shift switch.

Wow what great clean tone. We've fallen on some tough financial times and am going to have to sell the tube stack to get some money. This is definitely an amp worth considering as an inexpensive gig able replacement.

I've been using one since 3-17, we play classic rock, metal, country, and whatever is requested. I use a digitech RP360 on the clean channel and get some of the sweetest tones you could ask for. Our drummer has No problem hearing this beast. I've been playing for 40 years and I can say that you would be hard pressed to find a better value than this.

I have this amp. It is very loud and clear, but an equalizer pedal, plus a noise reducer pedal really brings out this amp. The reverb is fantastic. The other effects installed on this amp are better produced via pedals. I think, Acoustic figured throwing in a bunch of effects is a a selling point but they are so limited for the sound you want to achieve. Just dull. This amp is a good buy . My Les Paul really screams when I have the additional pedals (mentioned). The equalizer pedal is not supposed to be a boost in ampage but it really makes the difference . Much cleaner and loud!

I still play the AG 30 and the AG 60 acoustic and can dial in any sound I'm looking for. Great amps for the money.

This is a long way from my old Acoustic 150 head and 104 bottom that I used to have 'back in the day'. Sounds nice and does not take a fork lift to move around like my old rig.
