This was my entire relationship. He was so insecure and had ow self esteem, so much so that he constantly tried to make me feel jealous in order to soothe his own bruised ego from feeling jealousy himself.
I was incredibly in utter and total love with that man. I was head-over-heels, I can honestly say that I would have had no hesitation to die in order to save his life, that's how deeply I felt but I mostly felt small and replaceable about myself. He didn't care about my feelings if those feelings got in the way of what he desired and what he desired was a multitude of back-pocket relationships he could keep when he needed a "pick me up". It's funny now, but it wasn't then, the fact that no matter how much I told him how gorgeous he was or how much I enjoyed his company, he would only seem to get a reaction from other women. My words didn't mean much, the person he 'said' he loved so much.
Looking back I honestly feel I was simply convenience for him. It explains why he always kept his options open. I feel used like a tool in an emotionally immature man's egotistical game. I really loved him, but I never deserved to be treated like another number and I certainly didn't deserve to be consistently placed on the back burner in the life he kept so separate from my own.

I know exactly why he tries to make me jealous. First of all, I do really love him and cherish him. He knows this because I've told him. I'm also an attractive, intelligent and self-sufficient person. He tries to make me jealous because he knows that I don't actually need him to feel validated. He has a string of exes who are still very jealous of him and it seems that he wants to make me become like them. He thinks that he is succeeding, but what he doesn't know is that I value myself and I've had real love before. I am not desperate to the point that he can turn me into his jealous exes. I will continue to show him love, kindness, and support. When I walk away, it will be forever. I was able to give him up a long time ago and didn't turn into the obsessive exes that he is used to. I can do it again. I thought I'd give him another chance but now I know I'm too good. So he is either doing this to prove that he's on my level and can get a great catch like myself, OR trying to control me.

There's this guy I've been talking to for like one month and a half ... its not a serious relationship we're just talking but I've noticed he mentions other women all the time but I'm not jealous I'm a confident female but I felt that hes doing it on purpose trying to make me jealous but I'm not jealous though I don't care if he talks to other women but it's a turn off and I do feel he's insecure lol thank god I blocked him hes toxic
