Fed employees doesn't get pay more than private sectors. Especially as an IT. The contractors makes about 50% more doi g similar jobs.

Just wait until they try to outsource the work to the private sector. They'll market it as a cost cutting measure to sell it to voters. They'll say the exact thing that was mentioned in this video that federal employees are paid too much and that giving the work to the private sector will save money. Give it a little bit of time, and then we'll hear differently. It'll either be the same thing that happened in the 90's where it wasn't profitable for the company to do the work, or we'll hear that costs are much higher than they thought and to live with it. And don't be surprised if there is a data breach too with all of that happening.

Actually the leave policy sucks compared to a lot of private companies.

In my experience both sectors offer the same amount of benefits (leave, medical & etc). You’ll find many Fortune 500 companies such as UPS, Google, & etc. offer the same or in some cases better pay and benefits. 😊

This is BS because the States and Counties has more Holidays than the Federal Government Also they get more sick time and vacation time the number of years you work . I 've worked for the County Government for 15 years and received more.

Whenever an ideology goes too far there is an inevitable consequence and reaction. Project 2025 is the expected pushback. If it weren’t needed it wouldn’t have been conceived.
