Another cool thing about ski essentials is that they do free mountings if you buy bindings and skis together. I bought my blizzards rustler 10s from level9 and one of the skis came damaged I contacted them, and they sent a replacement set out right away no questions asked, It kinda sucked but the customer service was great, so i have no problem recommending them either.

QST 106 are down to $450 on evo. Bought them thanks to your review, as my powder ski for the Rockies to compliment my QST 85s I have for groomer days.

I got my height +3cm, which is in line with the sizing recommendation on Solomon’s own product page (0 to +10 of height). I saw in your QST video you actually got them up to your forehead/eyebrows. When you demoed them did you not find that they ski short?

Thanks for all your great vids btw!!

2023 mindbender 89TI….$400.00. I like the 23 top sheet more than the 24, so for me it’s a win win!!

Just bought the 23 Mindbender 99ti here in Germany with Tyrolia 11 for 410 Euros. Yeah, Tyrolia 14 would have been nicer, but that store didn't have that option.

Howdy! Thanks so much for putting all this together as well as the rest of your quality content. I have a question for you on your choice of QST. I too am looking to pick up a pair of QSTs for the upcoming season owning a pair of 87mm slalom style fun carvers and more business oriented Declivity 92s. I was set in the qst 106 in a 173 but you’ve got me thinking the 98 would be better. Are you at all concerned your rave review of the 98 won’t fully translate over to the 106? They are notably heavier less rocker than the 98 and longer turning radius. So while they share the same DNA would seem like they wouldn’t necessarily ski the same.

What do you recommend for a beginner turning intermediate for his first pair? I’m going up to Lake Tahoe to ski for the second time. I could rent, but I kinda want to have my own pair say under 350 dollars.

I saw a very good deal of Kore 87R on Level 9 sports. Could you comment on this ski?

Sometimes buying from European sites can get you a crazy deal… bought my ranger 108 for 70% off but had to buy in euros. Of course make sure the site is legit, hand full of scams

I recently moved to Canada, Ontario, from Brazil and I have only went skiing like 4 times in the past, I can parallel ski up to easy blues and I am looking to spend a lot of time on the slopes learning this next season.

Bought the MB 99TI at 450 Canadian, which is basically a peso. They rail and I love them like a fat kid loves ice cream.

Hey, I’m 6’4” 220 pounds. Do you think the K2 Mindbender 99 (184 cm) will work for me? I’m an intermediate skier and I’ll be skiing in Tahoe, CA.
