Lol. Fast navigation (auto switch to low level of multires when you rotate the camera) was in Blender for eternaty.

Very interesting to see the new cloth sculpting tool, was looking for that. The only thing I missed in the video what "multirez" now actually is. What does it do differently to a normal subdivision modifier? I don't understand the gained benefits?

Glad this mod gets more attention. been using it in 2.7 but with meh results. now its going to work as expected. hope the beta of 2.9 comes soon.

Interestingly enough, when you use the multires mod, when you move the viewport while wireframe is enabled, you DONT see the base mesh, but the first multires subdividion level. The base model is only visible when you go all the way down to level 0, and it will only have changes applied when choosing "apply to base". sadly, currently this feature is VERY easily broken when you use a complex model, as applying to basemesh will likely create extremely sharp edges and overlapping geometry. when you then try to fix this manually, the higher multires subdivisions will be increasingly broken, and when you fix those, it will again break the base mesh.
The tool is amazing, but you have to know its current limitations.
