Intense Dogfight - F-18 vs Mig-31 Lock On FC2

This Mig-31 unloads it all on me until I finally get him in my sights and take him down.

Indeed, I was actually quite surprised to see that it was a WVR engagement.The R-33 isn't known to be the most agile missile, but it's got a range long enough to make a firing test pretty interesting.I'm hoping to get my hands on the game soon, but I'd like to see a firing test, MiG-31 vs a western fighter BVR (>50km range separation between the two aircraft).

@TakgeyonBlackbelt What is the fidelity like in FC2? Is the aircraft avionics/flight model as accurate as the Falcon series (minus clickable cockpit)?

I never used the clickable cockpit that much, minus the mfd's.

This is a mod, probably EFA 2.0 or something similar. You can also tweak avionics, that's how my Phantom can actually aim its bombs and rockets.

@MudRat02 Well the avionics are pretty acurate from what I can tell. Just make sure you are running plenty of RAM. I would suggest a minimum of 4 gig.

Is the mig 31 flyable here and f 18's? I didn't know that you can download add on air crafts here.

The Mig-31's Radar could have acquired a lock BVR and could have taken down the FA-18 like a fly. Besides its an interceptor, not a dog fighter.
