I honestly hope she's happy now.

I don't like to think it wouldnt have worked out anyways. I mean, we both lived different lifestyles, and were raised in different places. I'm in engineering college student, and she's a cashier at a local mall. I came from the west coast, and she was from the mid-south, so yes, it was long distance.

The one time where I saved up for an 18 hour drive trip to go see her face to face nearly 1 1/2 years after we started dated, felt like a dream come true for the both of us. Little did I know not even a year later, we would both part since she felt her spark extinguish for sometime.

I felt bad that I couldnt deduct why she lost her spark for me, but more importantly, for us. But in the end, I learned that sometimes our heart really wants something else to be happy. Behind every bad misfortune, sometimes there is always a good thing to find within it.

I guess the point i'm trying to make is to find what makes not just others around you happy, but yourself as well.

Though now I live life without a partner, I havent given up hope that one day i'll find love again. All I can do is just push on with life, and let love come with time.
