MSC Seaside is a Seaside-class cruise ship currently owned and operated by MSC Cruises. As the lead vessel of the Seaside class, she lends her name to the company's Seaside class. At 153,516 GT, she would become the largest cruise ship ever to be constructed by Italian shipbuilder Fincantieri, and the 14th largest cruise ship in the world.

MSC Seaside has 18 decks and a length of 323 metres (1,060 ft), a draft of 8.8 metres (29 ft), a depth of 12.1 metres (40 ft), and a beam of 41 metres (135 ft).[8] The maximum passenger capacity is 5,119, with a crew complement of 1,413.[8] She is also powered by a diesel-electric genset system, with four Wärtsilä engines driving GE Marine electrical equipment, equipped with exhaust scrubbers to contend with soot.[8][21] Main propulsion is via two propellers, each driven by a 20 megawatts (27,000 hp) electric motor; four forward and three aft 3.1 megawatts (4,200 hp) thrusters allow for close-quarters maneuvering.[8] The system gives the vessel a service speed of 21.3 knots (39.4 km/h; 24.5 mph). - Wikipedia

I am sailing in May on seaside. I love a relaxing hot tub soak, do you remember if the water temperature seemed hot? Or was it just warm? I have seen some people say they are not true “hot” tubs.

We go in May, first time on MSC so excited. Is the south beach pool adults only, and do they have a hot tub there?

Thanks for the tour! I'm going in June for 7 days and was wondering if you have any suggestions on what to do entertainment wise for teenagers(ages 17 and 18)? In your opinion, did you like the buffet or the main dining food more? It's my first time taking them, so I want to be prepared :)

Beautiful ship but our cruise to the Bahamas in April 2023 was a total sh!tshow. The food at dinner was awful. The 9:30pm seating wasn't seated until 10:15 every night. The wait for drinks at all the bars was way too long. The boarding took 3 hours and getting off the boat was another 3 hours. I won't be sailing with MSC ever again. Their island beach was also very nice.

Overall a nice ship rather spoiled by many areas closed to non 'special' guests, many smoking areas polluting the bits we were allowed to use, very slow and inefficient bar service and during our barbados trip it felt more like a huge bus often overcrowded . On a plus side the entertainment was excellent, the ship spotlessly clean if only the ever overworked servers would look up you might get the nasty cheap chardonney they tried desperately to get rid of. Its hard to ruin the Caribbean but some ports were clearly the cheapest spot to moore rather than the best and probably should have been missed rather than expose the seedy run down bits . I dont think MSC have balanced this cruise right as it could have been simply amazing rather than good but not great.

I was watching another reviewer and they where saying that smoking is a big deal on ship and whole ship smells of smoke and that they dont care where people smoke was wondering if this is still true as the video I watched was from 4 yrs ago
