As I’ve commented previously, I’ve been experimenting with linear loading. Initially did not achieve the correct spacing but once I did it looked to be promising. The CrankIR looks similar to what I was after but 1400 quid is a real dampener. Appreciate the upgrades you’ve been through as even the most simple designs can be complicated when doing it for real as amateur radio sends a lot of curved balls. Love it, been on your website. I have a version of the DX Commander, very good. I’m short of the lower band capability as my Cobweb does well for most bands 20 and above. The review on your website is first class and I’m giving this very serious thought, Spiderbeam already on order. I doubt I would use portable, the issue I have is my portable radio setup attracts people. Whether on top of a hill or in a local park. Is that CB being the most common question. With my KX3 I use EFHW on 20 and above. Radials whether on the ground or elevated is just asking for trouble.
