Migrants are behind boom in Queens red-light district, Adams says

Mayor Eric Adams has blamed the rise in prostitution in Corona, Queens, on an influx of female Venezuelan migrants who are struggling to find other work.

The Democrat said Tuesday that “illegal” activity is taking place in the area and that it is just “one example” of how the nation’s migrant crisis is affecting the city.

It is unclear whether these Venezuelan migrants are being sex-trafficked to perform these acts or if they are soliciting sex of their own free will.

But, speaking to reporters Tuesday, Adams said: “This is what happens when you create an atmosphere that people can’t provide for themselves — you can’t work, you can’t provide for your job and have to turn to illegal activities to do so.”

“When I talk about the spiraling impact of how this is going to affect our city, this is what I’m talking about,” he said. “We are going to create generational problems based on the failure of the national government, and this is one example of that.”

this is all for cheap labor, they are already working without visas... we are paying for their homes, their food, their health care ( WHICH IS FRONT OF THE LINE SERVICE), and their kids education!!!
all the while they are not even paying taxes!!! a few companies here in colorado FIRED the locals and hired the ILLEGALS because they would work for under minimum wage!!! and then they go with them to the bank to cash their checks.... they dont need any form of ID and to top it all off... NO TAXES ARE TAKEN FROM THEIR
so you really have to ask yourself... HOW does this help AMERICA?

What job? Does he really believe they would do anything else if they were handed work permits. I'm not trying to slight these folks or be hateful, but they were probably doing this in their own countries. Why would they do anything different here in the US where all bad deeds seem to get rewarded. Even when arrested. They document the crime, give you a meal and drink, and set you loose. There are no real penalties, even for serious assault.
