As someone who has experience swimming in very cold water, don't jump and especially don't pencil dive into an ice hole or cold water of any kind. A pencil dive could send you in at a diagonal path and you will miss the hole coming back up. The cold water will also trigger a cold shock response and cause you to involuntarily gasp for air, potentially breathing in water. Go in slowly, it is much safer.

as someone who lives in hot place i cant imagine that. Temp here is 41.

One thing to remember if you ever try ice hole swimming or just "avanto" swimming.
Don't put your head under the water there's always the change that you end up a bit off the course from the hole. If the first thing you do when you come up and hit ice beneath the surface most people with getting an immediate shock and lose their shit and drown. Even worse at the night time when you cannot see the light. Sometimes even the stream of the water is enough to push you off from the whole if you dip your head for a little longer. Have safe times guys, from a person that died almost twice while doing this. Never stopping.
