A savagely funny sequence from episode 4 (Rise of the Machines) from the Netflix / BBC series "Cunk on Earth" featuring Diane Morgan as Philomena Cunk.

This clip is almost as good as the 1989 smash hit "Pump Up the Jam" by Belgian dance group "Technotronic"

"I love Abba.😠" Gets me every time.

I find this interaction/scene to be so genuinely powerful, even if it's meant to be humorous as well. Philomena's reaction is so human. And the way he says, "anything you like" always gets me.

That man is as comforting as he looks intimidating. Rare kind of person.

I really want to get this guy an "I love Abba" t-shirt. No person in human history has deserved one more than him.

This is the most perfect example of Cunk at her most accidentally-profound.

Somehow her reaction - be it acted or not - appears to be what is the one sane reaction to the fact that nuclear weapons still exist.

I loved this scene. So well acted and adorable. And as others have already pointed out in the comments, it is actually a sensible reaction.

What I love about this is that normally he’s one of the least patient with Cunk.

I think this was the most 'serious' moment in the series.

I love how this expert appeared on not one but two series of Cunk shenannigans and now seems to almost be mates with her

It just has this mesmerizing mix of humor, genuine emotion, compassion, plus great acting and good editing that ties everything together.
The only thing I wonder is how many times this guy had been interviewed by her, like, is this closer to the start of their interviews or closer to the last ones they made together? Because the mental picture you have of this guy changes a lot depending of this point's place in Philomena Cunk timeline.
Another thing I like from this, is that if we thought there were no more atomic bombs in the world, and suddenly we were revealed otherwise, we all would probably cry too. So when she cries, it's both funny cause of her naive thinking but it's also tragic because it's an awful truth and we can empathize. It makes you laugh and sad at the same time. I love that emotional dissonance.

The guy might be learned expert and a very sober and decent man. But he can easily get a role in a movie. He has one of those personalities.

I don't care what anyone says, this is the best moment in the whole series
