I read this book in high school when I freshman. The school library was small. So we were able to go to the town and take out the a book for a month. After we read it we had to write a report on each chapter. Our teacher wanted to make sure we read the book. I was good at writing reports. I have seen every movie about this book. Still love the book. I am at age of audio books. Eyes are not as good now. Love someone to read to me now. I now hear one audio book a day. I love it.

I have a friend who has been so obsessed with the book, that she has come to believe there really is a Shangri La somewhere in Asia! It is all she talks about, and I greatly fear for her sanity! When I try to convince her there is no Paradise to be found anywhere upon this God-forsaken Earth, she refuses to believe this! What am I to do about this terrible situation?😮😮😮
