There's a vast difference between having a hobby that turns into an addiction and being a professional gamer. Depending on what part gaming plays in your life, I guarantee that (most) parents will also react vastly different depending on whether you are killing time playing league 8 hours a day after school at the cost of your grades, homework and health or whether you are pursuing a dream in your life.
I don't mean to offend anyone, but in the commets, there are an awful lot of people complaining about "why can't my parents see that league is important"... It's not, people, it's a game. It's a fantastic game, but it's not your job..
