if you're planning on buying from the Louis Vuitton shearling/teddy collection this year, watch this first!!!! i've had the Louis Vuitton teddy bumbag for 1 year, and can I say I regret it?!? jury is still out on that one, but it definitely is a lot more finicky and has more cons than I realized. I literally thought that I was the only one having that issue. Mine started to shed in the same location. I live in San Antonio so I don’t know what I was thinking buying it in the first place 😂, Its hot here. My LV store couldn’t do anything so I just exchanged it for two other bags.

The shearling will naturally wear away. I have a Lv shearling bag and sheepskin naturally wears. It also knots up with rubbing.

Omg! I have the teddy bumbag as well as other shearling pieces and that balding has not happened to any of them!😮. I have the OG bumbag in the monogram and empreinte and my mom has the new bumbag. She prefers my old one because she swears it has more space!

That's a terrible letdown! Just fyi shearling and probably more so furs can shed in heat and should be in moisture-controlled cold storage in hot months. So, not your refrigerator, a fur storage that will keep them around 55-60 F. You said Texas, which used to have fur storage places in Dallas before covid. Not sure what's available in what cities now or what it costs?
I don't use fur accessories when it gets above 70, but shearling may be more hearty?
