Flat Displays are a lot lot better than the curved one.
No issue of Applying Screen Protector
Chances of getting shattered are way less
No content is getting out of sight
No accidental touches

One of the biggest reason I prefer 8T over 8 Pro.

I bought OnePlus 8 back in July. I was really kind of sad as the 8T came just a couple of months later. But now it seems I had made a beautiful decision.
Oneplus 8 is truly great and its curved edges give it a spectacular feel.

I am still using o+6 awesome phone never faced any lag or any other issues and yes i am a heavy user, will wait for another year like maybe oneplus 9 hope they don't increase the price because they have already crossed 50k mark for top end model -_-

The 8T has better camera and a faster charge while the 8 pro has ip68 water and dust resistance and a fancy looking both on the front and the back and a decent fast charge, both have stereo speakers

I want a form factor phone but with curved display.
Curved display looks too damn sexy.

I'll go for 8t in a sense that its battery consumption will be much less than the 8pro because of the screen reso. So battery will drain slower on the 8t plus it charges faster. But if it is priced higher than the 8pro, i'll go for the 8pro instead
