I am unapologetically mediocre-looking and living my best life not caring about filters, surgery, etc, and people around me either accept me or don't, and that's their business not mine. I'm happier than I ever was when I was obsessing about getting the perfect winged eye, or having the smallest waistline. So much energy spent on things which don't matter when you could be spending that time doing things you actually love and which make you uniquely you!

I REALLY hope that this doesn’t come off as patronizing, because it absolutely is NOT. Even though I am probably old enough to be your grandmother, I really admire you speaking out on this issue! I am sure that it was not an easy decision to make this video; it’s sure to offend some people, but hopefully you reached some who truly HEARD your message, and move to a simpler and more authentic life. That way they have a chance to make their mark on the world instead of hiding at home making up a fake identity (and probably their lifestyle, as well) to pretend that you have lots of friends. It sounds like a lot of lonely people that need some mental health aid.
