Great answer pastor Sproul! It's amazing, I needed this answer. I'm going through such a complicated time in my marriage, my husband and I believe in two different doctrines. I would consider myself reformed and he's definitely into all the signs and wonders hype. This is not a easy situation. I'm encouraged to handle this in a loving way though.

wow....rc jr touched the truth about the state & homosexuals...this was 5 years ago and even to the day...Canada HAS punishment for preachers or anyone that tries to talk or counsel homosexuals /transgender etc...It is considered a hate crime... I always think of Isaiah 5: to them that call evil...good and good...evil...!

41:45 RC Jr. is clearly is confusing something because John Wesley outlived George Whitefield by 21 years! In fact, John Wesley was the person who preached at Whitefield's funeral.

Isn’t death final? Isn’t that the TRUE penalty for sin?

I so appreciate my reform brothers and I see the logic in their answers regard to predestination. I think the reason I can't finally buy into it, though, is because as a parent I know i could never chose ahead of time to damn one of my children and save the other. I would try my best to save them both.

I am Canadian, never heard of that law or charge that was mentioned around the 11:00 min mark. So I am not sure that is true or enforced...pastors preach sin in this country.

Homeschooling your child doesn't save them. If it did, I wouldn't have come to know the Lord at age 7, 47 years ago. None of the Apostles would have been saved. RC Sproul wouldn't have been saved if homeschooling were a requirement for salvation.
