I studied from a tier 1 college after securing 99.6 percentile in JEE. This government doesn’t care about even top colleges. We don’t fund colleges. A lot of colleges don’t even have proper labs. You guys distribute 2500 rs in the name of schemes but can’t even have proper books in the library. Feels like slapping this guy.

I was in a deep sleep for many decades, and suddenly I woke up with a comparison list.

Did we always have an up-to-date education system?
Do all schools strictly impart civic sense into primary students?
Did the study curriculum always had the latest in-demand skills?
What about class discussions and free questioning with teachers without the fear of retaliation/humiliation?
Anything for sparking curiosity into young minds instead of rote learning?
Even if someone wants to persue Machine learning, they still have to memorize a LOT of chemical reactions just to enter a good college.
Did he even compare education and the R&D budget with China?
It's easier to blame than to take action on the root cause.
We do get excellent minds like APJ Abdul Kalam with an outdated system but such minds are extremely rare. Only a systemic overhaul can give us a lot more brilliant and world leading innovators.

2 major problems:
1) Education system
2) No investment / funding for new businesses
Only big favorable tycoons like Ambani, adani, etc take all the loan money present in our country. Other people are barely given any change to bring change in society, by daring to bring unorthodox businesses. Nobody gives them any chance.

It is laughable that a senior minister is blaming people when it is the policymakers because of which Bharat is in the current predicament. Most of the youngsters who want to build world class businesses are immigrating to west, because they dont want to hassle with the biggest road block to innovation which is the govt itself. To start with dare to bring reforms in the reservation system in higher education.

When any Politician says:

"You Have to make a Great Country, You are the future of the country "

It just means he is just saying it for entertaining the masses regardless of the fact or proof or point that he mentioned.

If he could say "We are too responsible " Then only it make sense.

it's the govt. fault too They do not invest heavily in r&d, and focuses on sore rotting instead of going practical in colleges, i mean any person now in india just opens schools and colleges

In my whole school life we trained not to think and develop our intuition, but to follow the rules blindly serving only to a school. You can't create startup innovators all of a sudden by training them to not think for 25 years.

Indian govt is not ready to support any startup, try opening a simple shop in a market and see how many different department show up to stop the work just to take bribes, now imagine what a big well funded startup has to face

he is very much upto the point. Only missing piece here is how govt is investing in education to enable young generation to learn AI and ML. Politicians needs to drop the idea of caste, reservation, religion and other old systems to newer mindset. Most importantly creating private sector jobs. People should learn that govt jobs are limited and not the way to move ahead in life
