THE TRUTH Abour Dr Karen Becker.

The video is about Dr. Karen Becker, a veterinarian who is a prominent figure online and controversial for her views on pet food. The video discusses both the positive and negative aspects of her advice.

Dr. Becker argues that pets should be fed a species-appropriate diet, which means feeding them food that is similar to what they would eat in the wild. This includes fresh food, raw meaty bones, and limited carbohydrates. She believes that kibble is ultra-processed and contains ingredients that are not biologically appropriate for dogs and cats.

The video acknowledges that some people criticize Dr. Becker for selling her own supplements and promoting products that she profits from. However, the video argues that this doesn't necessarily mean her advice is wrong.

The video concludes by suggesting that viewers should be open-minded and critical of all information they consume, including Dr. Becker's advice. It emphasizes that there are two main camps in the pet food industry: good ingredients and bad ingredients. The best approach is to feed your pet food with high-quality ingredients.

I like Dr. Karen Becker. I think she has a lot of good tips. My dogs and cat are doing very well on homemade food, I have her book, it's very informative. Way back, my mom had a dog, she never bought dog food, he ate what we ate, that dog lived to be 15 yrs.

Good day! The Hill's kibble groups I interact with, absolutely hate Dr. Karen Becker. They claim ingredients don't matter. Considering the junk in most commercial pet food, I can understand why. The Hill's people claim the level of nutrients are all that matter, low calcium and phosphorus, especially. What they never mention, organic ingredients found in real food, have low bioavailability in dogs and cats are not as much concern as the synthetics in commercial food. People should do their own research and decide what they feel is best for their pets. The commercial pet food industry has brought this on themselves by selling so much poor quality food. It should not be this difficult to find healthy pet food. Keep up the good work!

Hi! I'm 15 years old and I'm Spanish. I love your videos!!! It's good to know that there are people worrying about their pet's nutrition. I feed my dog Royal Canin Dermacomfort because my vet recommended it to me, what a big mistake!!! I'm trying to find a food that fits my dog sensitivity (skin issues). The only food "perfect" fot this sensitivity is Hill's, Royal Canin and Purina, according to most of the vets here where I live. I definitely disagree with that. I prefer feeding my dog a food made with ingredients that I can understand and add some salmon oil to support its skin, instead of a food made with bad unspecefic ingredients, although it contains high amount of omega fatty acids. Sorry for any spelling mistakes in my comment. Thank you very much for your videos!!! I don't know why everyone doesn't watch them.
You diserve the best!!!😊😊
