The Gossip Girl TV show is an adaptation of the Gossip Girl book series by Cecily von Ziegesar who attended the Nightingale-Bamford school in the 1980s and based the characters off of her wealthy and scandalous classmates. Serena and all the other characters are based on the author’s classmates from the 80s. Hadley Nagel may have been fashion inspo for Blake Lively’s wardrobe on the show but not for the character herself

FACTS, Blair was Gossip Girl by the end!! She was my favorite and arguably everyone else's. I loved Serena but her character became a predictable boring mess. Blair was always fighting, winning and losing a battles in The Best Couture with the best reads and comebacks. 👑🦄
