Useful vocabulary:

It's better if you write the words on the screen, it's hard for me to understand some words...I'm translating the English words into my own tongue

Narration, handwriting, Guttenberg press, typing machine, matrix printer, postscript printer, Wysiwyg, font choosing, smileys, wechat Wyciwyg (What you click is what you get). What an evolution! Imho the fonts carry, though only in part, the responsibility for diminished book reading. I remember when people were coming back from office carrying with them tens of pages with various font patterns, and seemed lost due to excess of choice while staring at those pages. Some of them went to take psychoanalyses sessions due to font-identity crises. And there were some extreme cases, like carrying around fonts on a leash, acquiring transfont identity and applying for lgbt++++ classification, or jealousy because a beloved font suited better a colleague.
