Ion gone lie I used to hate on pro tools because when I just started on music I had zero clue what I was doing that was 4 years ago I bought pro tools again yesterday and did my first mix and master for a homie and it was the best mix and master I have ever done I love pro tools now 🔥

The Pro Tools Into + Slate Digital All Access has been the perfect combo for me

Great breakdown and insight dude. PT Intro really will cover most beginners out there and with so many free 3rd party plugins out there, you can make some decent music with that setup. I wish Intro was available back in the Digidesign days. Would've saved me $1000 when I was just getting started.

I have Pro Tools Studio perpetual bundle, pro tools intro & PT 9 HD3. I use intro for podcast edits, studio for mixing and V9 HD3 for recording and I mix on it when I run out of tracks in studio. That’s the only caveat of pro tools studio

You have the best reviews! Thanks, Wavy Wayne. We are looking at getting with Pro Artist migrating from Cubase. Much appreciated.

I wish they had a perpetual version with offline mode were they don't check each time you login or you don't have internet.

I bought the perpetual license last year.. I didn't expect pro tools to force me into a subscription

Thanks for the video. I appreciate all the help. The best pro tools for me is Cakewalk. I accomplished more in 2 hours with Cakewalk than 2 months with Protools. The learning curve on Protools is just too steep. To me Cakewalk just makes sense. It's easy. You hook up a midi keyboard and it's there. No fuss. Protools took 3 hours to get anything working and not really. I'm sorry but Protools is not for me.

Thanks Wavy this makes me realise that I don’t need ProTools studio, which I currently have, and that I can be perfectly well off using pro tools artist. Question “: is it possible to downgrade a subscription midway in the subscription period?
