a minor interesting thing is that it seems only rookie and champion can use them. the instances of digimon higher than that using them is natural digivolution (volcanomon to pilevolcanomon, and ulforce/arcadiamon to their ultra forms)

I've seen that the digimons from the first serie can use their digimentals, most of them 'cuz i can't find agumon's one.
They've never been released, maybe just a joke. For example, Gabumon with the digimental of friendship will become Kita Kitsunemon (a senile old man).
