Yuji and Gojo Got HUGE Nerfs! - Jujutsu Shenanigans

Unfortunately I can't give y'all a normal upload because I'm on a bit of a time crunch against my will, so here's my live reaction to everything. There is a lot to say on this update for sure, and honestly I think its a pretty good one, especially for nerfing the two characters who have been basically the undisputed (besides each other) kings of the game. I doubt the nerfs will completely kill either Gojo or Yuji off, but it should level the playing field a bit. Lmk what y'all think.

8:50 for Gojo’s nerfs and 11:04 for Yuji’s nerfs.

Literally just bait ragdoll cancel and then uppercut into cursed strikes if you want to still extend. Yuji still has his insane mobility and neutral, only difference now being that he has to bait ragdoll to do good damage.

Yall Gojo mains should be fine too. Your combos really don’t change at all and you can probably just use rapid punches into twofold into lapse blue into red + aerial kick to get the exact same damage amount.

Yuji and Gojo dominated the game for wayyy too long and Gojo is still going to be completely fine after these nerfs while Yuji is really just dropping down a little bit into the same realm as Mahito.

I think the yuji nerf was less about making him worse and more about raising the skill floor for him

If you don't know, the Hakari reserve balls variant is a reference to consecutive events, one of the visual effects Hakari uses in his domain expansion to roll for a jackpot. Consecutive events roll back to before Hakari took damage and rolling for the jackpot.

Hakari is now basically a really good character comparing to others. He does GOOD damage and has fast cds. I see how it will increase amount of players playing him

I think the gojo thing is to encourage people to use the red plus aireal kick combination rather than use them individually.

Honestly cursed strikes feels more like a balance cuz it makes you prioritize black flash more and considering that, it’s probably the reason I was able to hit 6 black flashes consecutively (breaking my 4 consecutive bf record) and then breaking that like three minutes later and hitting 8 consecutive black flashes on the same guy.

As Yuji main, that nerf is a very good fucking nerf, makes it more rewarding to master the character overall playstyle, unlike before the nerf, where it was still a "M1*3 move M*3 move" type character wich is boring and anoyoing.
Also glad they nerfed Gojo, i was tired of getting 0 to Death by their bs and then getting bm'd
