2022 Mondraker Crafty Carbon RR First Look!

With the BOSCH Smart System the Mondraker eBike lineup is on the short list for riders looking for the ultimate performance and reliability.

The updated BOSCH Smart System on the Crafty include the Performance CX motor as well as the increased power and longevity of the 750wh battery.

The Crafty Carbon features 150mm of rear travel with 160mm in the front. The Crafty Carbon RR has a Float X rear shock with a FOX 38 GRIP2 fork.

Along with the BOSCH motor Mondraker eMTB feature the ZERO Suspension setting them apart from the competition. ZERO Suspension is designed to minimize chain growth while keeping power transfer crisp and excellent small bump compliance.

Since eMTB bikes are often ridden up burly lines there is much more torque on the drivetrain throughout a wider range of travel compared to a standard MTB. This means that any chain growth in the suspension increases the wear on chain, cassette, freehubs and wheel bearings. Mondraker’s ZERO Suspension allows eMTB riders to confidently attack their lines without worrying about undue wear to the drivetrain.

Popular upgrades to the Crafty Carbon RR include Magura or Hope brakes as well as BikeCo Pro Tune suspension on the Float X or GRIP2 fork.
BikeCo Pro Tune suspension will fine tune the FOX Factory spec into a smaller window based on your size, riding terrain, ground speed, etc. Pro Tune Suspension is increasingly popular due to the additional weight and riding dynamics of heavier eMTB bikes.
