Hey guys!

The Oct 12th patch introduced the drop of golden tears to all the elite mobs in the dungeon. This kind of makes "grinding" the dungeon a thing now if you really needed golden tears to make vaha earrings. I wanted to test how fast we can speedrun the dungeon. We did this 3 times to see how many golden tears we could get as a group.

The results were that 3 of us from the 3 runs were able to get a golden tear from the elite mobs +. the boss Considering you can do about 4-5 runs per hour, we can possibly expect about 3-4 golden tears per hour for the entire group. This doesn't include the possibility of getting a golden tear from the weekly chest so there's that as well. I also don't know if drop rate works so i might also test having a loot scroll on.

In terms of silver,
you get 20-30 caphras from the boss which are 3 mil each, so 100-150mil per run
4-5 runs = 240-450mil
+ the elvia key which vendors for 50mil, 4-5 runs = 200-250mil
all together = 440-700mil / Hr depending on rolling between 20-30 caphras per run
so expect like 550mil /hr

I might test out just "grinding" the elite packs and not even doing the boss to see how many tears we can get from doing that so stay tuned.

What exactly are you doing that allows you to burn the boss down without having to do the light mechanics first? Is it just a matter of having an extremely geared party, exploiting some loophole in the first phase's mechanics, the shai buffs, or some very specific combination of classes and debuffs and addons and effects?
