This version of Blue Danube seems to calm my 3 month old baby.

We take turns, me and my wife, to waltz with her to this every night before bedtime and she listens raptourously and soon goes of to dreamtime.
Especially if we piroute and do a little skip now and then.
Nothing else seems to work.

As I listen to this, I feel my dad's presence though he passed 1992. Growing up, he'd bring home long play albums of mostly classical music and though at that time I did not particularly care for it, somehow listening played daily, it was etched in my mind and at 76, I am so grateful he introduced me to the most beautiful music mankind ever had the pleasure of listening to and enjoying. I thank my father for this very precious gift of music, particularly Johann Strauss. If only I can tell him. Thank you papa. I will forever cherish your love of music and the joy you gifted to me.
