to be honest i find it quite cool, by the time the doors are fully open it's practically stopped. And that women hopped of the train so smoothly lol.

Didn't know the drivers could do that on the newer trains- only ever seen it happen on the Bakerloo.

Driver unlocked the doors before coming to a full stop but was a suitable speed to release the doors. It's frowned upon but nothing dangerous unless you've got a packed platform

This should be done more often, as pre-doors as I call it is very good at speeding up boarding and alighting, which minimises dwell times by a lot.

Notice this a lot on the 1972 Stock and used to notice it on the C and D stocks too.

I like this, actually. Wish NYC had this. Closest I've gotten was the doors opened a fraction of a second after the train stopped, and that requires excellent coordination between driver and conductor.
