If they are way too baggy and you want them tighter then go for a hot wash and hope they shrink more to fit you better.

Jumping in WAY after the game. For younger audiences, Frisco has a point, listed below. But for us older timers, 501’s were a main staple, wranglers were a close second. Cinch is just the new guy on the block. With regards to the spurs, didn’t look they were sitting right. This fella’s “probably” a green horn, but he’s got the right idea. Little longer jean, one more notch on the spurs, pull up yer boot straps and ready-ta-ride! Thanks for being brave enough to post!

What jeans are they ? Levis 501 Shrink To Fit? If so hopefully you did not buy them too big or baggy to start off with.
Usually you would buy a pair the next size up to you usual size and then shrink them to fit. either taking a shower or bath while wearing them and letting them dry on you, or by giving them a gentle first wash and then slipping into them before they are totally dry.

Thanks bb - cant't raelly beat a guy wearing STF 501s and boots n spurs - unless of course he is wearing black cowboy boots n spurs AND leather jeans!!
Now that is also a great HOT combo! :)
