I wanted to know what are the best emulators for all the mainline classic systems, not just the few that only have one option!

One emulator NOT to do is PCEMU.
The PCEMU uses the V11 rom files to emulate the actual motherchip of the computers up to Award430 series. had it and it worked great until the last Win 10 update and it killed my virtual hard drive of what I had. I had that update turned off for a long time afraid of what it might do but figured by now they worked the kinks out. I have 10 PRO and Mom back in January figured out how to turn updates off so I have a choice. They must've had another creators update.

Retroarch brought back my love for emulation . I have current gen consoles but i akways go back to ps1, snes etc

CEMU for the Wii U is the best imo. It's much harder to optimize and you need a pretty strong pc, but oh my god do the games look gorgeous at 1080/4k 60fps.

Hi there! I'm new to this sort of thing (haven't had a PC for that long neither) but would it be possible to play games like NFS Underground (2) and Test Drive Unlimited this way? I don't have a disc reader in my PC and those games aren't on the store so I was just wondering..

You'd think reinstalling a fresh copy of it (v14 the latest) would fix it. I installed the same Windows OS with the same boot drive and ISO but no sound whatsover. Upon the preferences you can emulate all the Sound Blasters which the MIDI files play just fine on the emulator but NO MORE regular sound.
Previously whatever you select when installing would show up as plug and play and the graphics card would show up. I always use Trident as in real life it's a good reliable card though I never owned one. On the emulator it would say "Found Trident whatever" and same with MIDI.

Even though they aren’t really “emulators” all the free ports for those classic call of dutys are legit better than the regular versions AND THEYRE FREE (Plutonium and RektT5 btw for anyone wondering)

What could I go for specifically for NES, SNES, & SEGA?

And would I need a specific amount of power to run them?

FCEUX is a great nes emulator, it's not one hundred percent accurate but everything runs great on it.

Launchbox (via Retroarch) I have also had a weird graphics glitch in Mario Kart 64 where Luigi appeared in front of me not moving anywhere then he showed up behind me even though the ranking list showed DK and Yoshi not Luigi and DK. Another weird glitch was a couple times I even had good items like boosts/stars or invisible while up in 3rd and 2nd place. Usually 4th place and better you get crappy items NEVER good ones.

RetroArch is NOT an emulator. It's a fron end, it runs the emulators.
The cores within RetroArch are the emulators. 🤦‍‍♀️🤦‍‍♂️

On a video about getting sound to work on VMware by SB drivers installed a person recently said what I noticed that the drivers now know longer work. He can't figure out if the VM updated or something to screw it up but I told him my PCEMU packed out and any new copies do the same thing providing no sound. When I had a good copy of 98 emulated I played Titanic Adventure of Time just fine a few days ago then an update killed it making a weird black screen on the Award 430 Boot screen it emulates.

As a result of no sound when I installed that Titanic game it would just give a fatal error message and close. On all our computers the recent update made our USB drives not working. Dad found out by looking into it that the update turned them into read write drives and they keep going back to that when fixing it.
