In this video we compare different revisions of the same digital camera. Created by Karl Wendt.

This is the last video in our electrical engineering subject!

Electrical engineering on Khan Academy: A summary of the math and science preparation that will help you have the best experience with electrical engineering taught on Khan Academy. Become familiar with engineering numbers and notation, and learn about the two most important electrical quantities: current and voltage.

About Khan Academy: Khan Academy offers practice exercises, instructional videos, and a personalized learning dashboard that empower learners to study at their own pace in and outside of the classroom. We tackle math, science, computer programming, history, art history, economics, and more. Our math missions guide learners from kindergarten to calculus using state-of-the-art, adaptive technology that identifies strengths and learning gaps. We've also partnered with institutions like NASA, The Museum of Modern Art, The California Academy of Sciences, and MIT to offer specialized content.

agree this cam was made using spare parts originally destined for other applications. the capacitor stores charge for the flash, not during pictures ... unless they had real power glitches with some of the first version and decided that would be a cheap way to clean out noise. Hey stick a cap there to clean out any transients ... there must be a cap for the flash somewhere else on the first one. I'm surprised version 2 has the DIP though, looks like a slightly more expensive way of doing it.

Actually, the reason the camera is so cheap is that it's made of leftover parts that they can get for great discounts. The screen and the camera were probably made for old candybar phones. This is also the reason for the revisions, since, as they have a limited supply of refurbished parts, they create revisions swapping these parts out for other ones.

Obviously, they make a number of these products and push them to the market until the parts are depleted and then switch to other products.

you should try the photo quality if the two cameras

doubt the larger plastic lens was taken out for cost reasons. Maybe it was clouding or scratching.

So to reduce cost, they crappified an already crappy camera - wonderful.
