The life that Roger, Whitebeard and Oden lived, a life without any regrets, they did whatever that could and entrusted the future to the coming generation. And the end to their epic lives was far more epic than someone like kaido can imagine, kaido never felt the weight of future on his shoulders unlike Roger, Whitebeard and Oden. until the end kaido remained nothing but a muscle headed brute. Now I realised he wasn't bored because of being strong, come on kaido, Roger and whitebeard were epitome of power but they were never bored. Kaido says he wants to change the world but does nothing that can actually contribute to it, unlike Roger, whitebeard and oden. I am happy that kaido and bigmom didn't get the satisfaction of life without regrets. They didn't deserve. Dr hiruluk is the perfect example of living without any regrets and dying without any too. His speech about a person's actual death is still my favourite. A man dies only when he is forgotten. The world remembers Roger and whitebeard. The people of wano remember oden, but who is gonna remember kaido and bigmom. Even kaido's own daughter won't remember him, and probably bigmom's children too won't. Even if they are not dead, their life has ended.

something that always breaks my heart about Kaido, he hated this world

this world created him and his belief that only the strong have the right to rule

but in that belief there is no room for people to have dreams, this is why he wished for joy boy to be the one to bring him down

because he knew when joyboy returned there would be a new age, when luffy struck that last blow he wasn't angry, he was he finally got to see the return of Joyboy
