I've listened to everything Scotty's ever advised me of. Im now the proud owner of a Schwinn 10 speed. Gets great gas milage, insurance is cheap, maintenance is minimal, and parking is a dream!

Having recently started working in a shop as a mechanic in training, there is alot of things that are very easy to miss that can be very expensive to fix that I never even knew to pay attention to.

Every 2 weeks I gotta clean the second cylinder Spark plug om my 88 Integra. Luckily it only takes just a few minutes and makes a world of difference. Not bad for a 88 Integra with 352 thousand miles and the original engine. Still drives like a champ.

Hey Scotty! Maybe you could do a video as a tutorial on what you do when you are checking out a used car for purchase. You are right about the quality and honesty of mechanics today. It is hard to trust their opinion when they might be lazy or giving you an opinion that could be benefiting themselves rather than you.

Bought an ‘06 Lexus ES330 for $960 with 245k miles and check engine marking the catalytic converters. Did a full tune up with synthetic blend adding oil stabilizer to the motor and emissions treatment in the tank; no more check engine and running smoother! Best adult buy I’ve had yet 😅

I've seen people drive with bad wheel bearings for years too, Scotty. Right up until the wheel shears off and they crash the car. I never recommend anyone wait on wheel bearing repairs.
