The Milwaukee Bucks are one game away from winning the NBA championship after a thrilling game Saturday night.

I would LOVE to see Giannis rewarded with a NBA Championship, especially after deciding to remain in Milwaukee when he became an unrestricted free agent. As you all may know, Milwaukee is considered a small market and it is located within a cold climate. Those two factors make it much more challenging for Milwaukee and markets like it to retain its marquee players and to attract star and superstar free agents. Many marquee players would prefer to play in the bigger markets and/or warmer climates (i.e. Los Angeles, New York, and Miami). I believe that it is an anomaly that a player the caliber of Giannis chose to remain in Milwaukee and I am happy that he did. Winning an NBA Championship would mean the WORLD to the Bucks organization and it would be MONUMENTAL. It may make it easier to attract marquee free agents because they will know that it is an organization that is a contender and it is some place where they could win championships. In my opinion, one NBA Championship in Milwaukee is equivalent to about THREE NBA Championships with the Lakers or Celtics.
