So does the cedar chips deter bugs? Is that the purpose?

Brad and Deb, do you find that you still use this as much now that you are running a forestry mulcher? Assuming someone can afford one, it seems that a 3-point forestry mulcher is really efficient for underbrush clearing in the woods, which is one of the things I have seen you use the Baumalight on. Has this wood chipper been relegated to chip-making, or do you think it still has uses for things like storm cleanup?

What rpms does the tractor run with the chipper?

Why did you not put the chipper on the Kubota and the pump trailer on the summit with hydraulics ? Does the chipper also need hydraulics?

Next time, you chip back the trailer to the discharge and angle the dump a little. I'm planning to use woodchips on my walkways this year in the garden.

This is definitely how you treat a loaner tractor and not your own tractor! I would never run a wood chipper on my Kubota. It just adds unnecessary wear and hours.
