It would be pretty funny if the US lose against China in the Taiwan conflict. Rarely does the US ever lose in wars but if this Taiwan conflict is the one they lose one in then it will be an extreme shocker to everyone just like how people are shocked when Ukraine is holding strong when Russia is supposed to take it in a couple weeks. USA and Russia both could be considered paper tigers at this point.

If the West, particular US loves Taiwan that much, why not recognize Taiwan as a sovereign nation and establish official diplomatic ties with Taiwan? Let me remind you, United Nations abide to One China Policy, meaning Taiwan belongs China as a sovereign territory.

It's funny how history repeats itself. In the past 500 years, on every change of Empire, we faced exactly the same transition with exactly the same indicators. Financial, military, cultural, linguistic. It started with the Portuguese in the 15th century, the Dutch in the 16th century, the British empire, 17&18th century, until now with the American world leading power. The recent banking problem in the US, is only the beginning of a new world order. Since last year military budgets are sky-rocketing all over the world, yet another common indicator over the the past centuries... The question is, who will be next ?

Well lets look at the History of Taiwan. Taiwan was placed under the governance of the Republic of China (ROC), ruled by the Kuomintang (KMT), on 25 October 1945. By the UK after WW2. Even Tawains Government. The polity that exercises real control over Taiwan is a collection of political parties that variously refer to their country as either "Taiwan (Republic of China)" or "China (Republic of China). But it does not fit the USA agenda now. So who is Sabre Rattling and trying to force there control over another area and side stepping and blaming China for Global Conflict threat.

The world is getting deeper and deeper into conflict. There are way too many people with egos that are too big in power. This is the only planet we have. We as a civilization should be helping each other build and not trying to destroy each other. We spend billions to build weapons when that can be used to help developing countries and lifting people out of poverty. Starvation, war and famine and economic woes continue to constantly plague this planet. Maybe it will be better if we destroy each other and let life start all the way over because we humans do nothing but destroy everything.
