Oh mah god, someone else that actually makes the style use constant movement. Been wanting to do this for a long while, just don't have all the skills to do it other then animating a rig.

Idk HOW this would happen but you should change "nezuko" in the dialouge to like a random friend off your friends list, or if you have a friend in the server it says that name instead of nezuko....also love the game dude keep it up

Demon Slayer is such an emotional anime ngl. Voice actors really feel like a part of the character. I like how you made the last attack windup a bit slower, but then made it impact really hard, with a second impact after the first to signify the actual cutting through of the enemy. The slow windup suggests that they're generating a large amount of force, almost too heavy for them to move. The first impact suggests that they're building up even more power alongside the corresponding voiceline. And the final impact delivers the full power of a true finishing blow, as all the previous built up momentum and power coalesces into a powerful strike. I suggest adding a small arm shake after the first impact, and having it grow exponentially more violent until the second impact, when they finally cut through. No arm shake made sense for the original because it wasn't Tanjiro building up more power, it was Nezuko, exploding the blood on the blade. But that wouldn't make sense for the move in this game, so that. Also, might wanna try syncing the sword animation with the direction of the slash effects. It looks a bit off tbh. Specifically the last slash, as you can see at 0:35, sword is all the way up there while the effect is a bit lower. The way you put in the voice lines and subtitles made it even more emotional. And the lines were hella epic. "My lungs! My legs! My strength! Give it everything I've got!" It hits even harder after the entertainment district arc. Tanjiro said, and I quote, "Giving my all isn't enough. A HUNDRED TIMES THE POWER. SUMMON IT BY FORCE!" Goated effects, good mixing of the voice lines and subtitles, and nothing feels like it's lagging behind. It feels like one fluid motion. Nice.

In this case, the best thing would be for each hit of the hinokami to make a very long stun, since for each hit, the HP is reduced to a minimum, and that is very disadvantageous.

I think it would be very interesting if you took minor damage for all of the attacks you use (besides the evasive), as it would create a new mechanic unique to Hinokami that would give it a very glass canon like feel. Really devastating attacks but if you get hit you are going to hurt. I think ways to balance it would either make the damage very small, or increase damage resistance/health pool that’s unique to hinokami. Personally this could either go pretty well or really bad so it’s likely that it shouldn’t actually be added, but I think it’s a cool concept at least.

loved the particle effects and the animation for the actions, the UI is also clean and easy to grasp, would be better if instead, for the final hit where the head is decapitated, you make it a whole cutscene instead of just a continuation for the animation
