I can relate to that feeling of self-destruction, and it hurts to watch someone else going through that. He is a good player and such a nice man off the court, it’s clear everyone understands there is an on-court Rublev and an off-court Rublev as everyone likes him. I think it would be worth it to have a therapist and a sports psychologist on his team.

Crazy is not the word to describe his behaviour. In serious need of professional help is more like it. I couldnt care less about how his mentality will get him further in the sport but about the example he gives to tennis fans and especially kids.

He is a very kind person but the way he trained tennis with his mom was crazy. She was extremely abusive towards him and this is definitely the effect from that.
