KAAP is a proud part of the Kobelco Group, operating under the Aluminum and Copper Division. Since opening our doors in 2003 and beginning production in 2005, we’ve grown into a leader in advanced aluminum automotive components.
Located in Bowling Green, Kentucky, our facilities cover nearly 62 acres, with three plants housing state-of-the-art forging and casting operations. With 10 operating presses—some reaching 6,300 tons—and continuous gravity casting lines, we produce essential suspension components like knuckles and lower control arms for top automotive manufacturers.
