'DISCOTEQUE' (Demon) by sagecore | Geometry Dash 2.2

A bunch of people suggested this level to me, and I can see why after beating it. It's got a very unique theme throughout, seen in the level name, which is executed really well. Some parts are a little more focused with specific music references like vinyls and actual disco balls, but every part fits the aesthetic regardless. It's to be expected that it branches out a bit from just being simply a discoteque when it's this long too. More importantly, a level over 3 minutes long in length with this many cool and varied parts is impressive. It's also got some nice progression, especially in the latter half, which makes it more cohesive as well.

As for the gameplay, I was a little worried going into this at first since I saw some people suggesting it's a Hard Demon, and at this length, that may have been a bit too hard for me. However, after beating it, I think a Medium Demon rating is fair. It's quite easy to beat the whole thing after some practice. Before getting 100%, I think my best was around 45%, which is proof of that. The gameplay was quite enjoyable to me, being relatively easy to read without any major inconsistencies or spikes in difficulty. All in all, this definitely deserves an Epic rating, and I'm gonna keep an eye out for levels by sagecore from now on!

I love this style, it's inspiring for me personally. There are quite a lot of different effects, especially those that are associated with lines on the background.

A Viprin Server Contest AND a Viprin Upload at the same time is great! I remember seeing this level somewhere earlier today, and I enjoyed watching it all the way through. It has such a unique style I don't see in a lot of levels nowadays. The colours and the decoration give a vibe that I really like for some reason. I enjoyed this level. Hope it gets an Epic! :D
