Feed Me with Teeth - The Live Show Explained

Feed Me recently cooperated with Sober Industries and Studio Rewind to produce a remarkable Live show, displaying innovative lighting and video concepts and most notably a giant set of synchronized Teeth.

Learn about Feed Me as a character, and get a peek into the artistic and technological challenges solved in the process of developing this show from a sketch to a fully realized concept. This includes designing the giant custom LED teeth, creating the beat-accurate video and lighting content and building software to synchronize all show systems to Feed Me's Live stage performance.

SO awesome!!! Love the grinning teeth concept too. My friend & I had a cartoon character like that when we were kids...his name was "Carlos" and he was nothing but a big grinning set of teeth with a teeny little pointy head in the center. LOL!!!!

So, from what I gather by this video...
He composes in FL Studio, renders that to audio. Imports the audio and arranges his sets in Ableton Live. He uses dummy clips to coincide with the audio (3:37) that output data to the software frontend (LightSync @3:19, 3:44, probably programmed in Max/MSP) that goes to the secondary computer running (3:12-3:16) the video mapping software (Avenue? @1:43) then outputs to the LCD panels, and voila.
