Great Videos, keep up the good work! You can't find these devices in stores (especially not in germany), so your videos are essential for getting to know these. As most people want to replace printed journals with an e-reader (i guess), i think it would be awesome if you could show the printed page for comparison also. just so we get a feeling of how much of a difference in size and contrast there is. Thanks very much.

Good to see the two side by side. I can see the Paypr taking off in education and the corporate world.

Could they take off the huge "LOADING.." on Papyr when the screen refreshes? It just looks so unpleasant.

1:33 You can use circle erase function on Quaderno as well. Just circle it on any part of the lines you want to erase, small circle would do.

I always want to get a 13 inch to use for review papers. This would be very helpful for me. Thanks.

OCR-based pdf highlight is a must have for academics, because you can extract the text in your PC with referencing tools like Zotero. In this sense, QUADERNO wins hands down!

For me on the long run the Papyr wins here. All the other great features are very nice to have in an academic environment. If there a more device's and even the big one's arround it's getting even better. Also the future updates will be grate I think, because I feel the energy of the company with it's great development team.

Short = Papyr wins!

Thanks for the great video. Do PDF links work on the Paper? A common use case for me as an academic is clicking a pdf link (eg to see the full title of a reference), then I want a "back" button to go back to where I was and continue reading.

Contrast on Papyr looks quite bad TBH.

AWESOME and SUPER USEFUL VIDEO! Big hug from Europe to you, JB! Have you ever looked at LiquidText on your iPad Pro when working on a research?

Which is more practical to use for reading books ?
Onyx max or Quaderno ?
What has higher quality regarding the system?
Is quaderno has Android like boox max, ?

I like the underlining feature on the Quaderno. If your hand is a "little shaky" when trying to underline, on the Quaderno, it comes out straight. I would find that really useful on the Papyr. The dual page capability for the Papyr would, for me, make it perfect.

Great comparison. Are there any 8 - 10inch devices you'd recommend for note taking?

can you edit the contrast on either of these devices??

Hello MorningCoach, please tell me about the frontlight. These devices do not have frontlight. Do you think this might be a problem? Thanks in advance!

I've been using my Papyr to read PDFs. I love to be able to read a research article and make my summary notes as if it were on paper. No page size reduction. I do wish that switching to a different page worked a bit faster. It'd be great if a notebook opened on the page you took notes last, every time.
