I don’t know why this duo works so great, but it does. Adrian is a great songwriter, a good singer, but most importantly, he’s been a team player player for so long, that he can synergize, because lets face it, Kotzen has more talent for one person, than anyone should have.

Their styles work so well together, very much on the same wavelength. Great chemistry. Great classic rock. I've always been a Richie fan. As far as Maiden, Adrian was always the unsung hero both on guitar and as a songwriter. Adrian is what makes Somewhere in Time such a classic.

What I love about Adrian's playing is that it was always JUST shreddy enough. At least in Maiden. It's interesting to hear it juxtaposed with Richie's playing here.

The first time I heard Adrian's voice was on the track Reach out. Since then, I've been following his career, whether with Iron Maiden or his side projects. He's an artist (!), a real soul, and what he offers with Ritchie is of the highest quality. You can feel the emotion and the pleasure of playing (the solo parts 💕).
