This is my go-to heartwarming show. :) I adore the characters, their development, especially Doc's and Mel's. At the end of every episode, there's always such a cliffhanger that you can't help but to want to finish the entire season.

It’s nice that many find this series relaxing and heartwarming to watch, what with its wholesomeness, light drama, beautiful sceneries and all. But I also think it has a profound message: early at episode 3 of season 1, I'm reminded of the power of showing empathy and compassion to others — it’s a form of genius in and of itself that can inspire the best in people and make life a lot easier if not provide solutions to problems.

The represents very gentle and effective human reactions with realistic storyline which encourages a positive point of view to see the world. I've watched it in a time of depression and find it very soothing specially the third episode.

I have just been bingewatching all four seasons in just a couple of days and I am so impressed by this serie. I agree that this is a slow paced serie with real people and shows us how tough real life can be sometimes. The characters are interesting and not exaggerated at all. The emotions shown seem so real and the actors are perfect, everyone from the leads to the smaller parts. This is truly a gem and I can't wait for season 5. If you haven't seen it, it's well worth watching.
I haven't seen Tim Mathison in a better role. His change during the seasons is remarkable. He was such a stubborn old goat at first and has become a much more humble person and Annette O'Toole is also fantastic as the mayor. She too has changed in many ways to a softer and more kind person, especially after her illness. All characters feel real, and I can't wait to see how things develop in season 5.

This trailer doesn’t really do the show justice. It makes it seem like a “Hart of Dixie” rip off but it’s so much more than that. Really enjoying the characters and storylines. I loved HOD but this show has a lot more depth and the characters are more developed.

Enough with the Hart of Dixie comparisons. This show is based on a book which came out in 2007, four years prior to HoD. So, if anything, HoD is copying this.

REGARDLESS, you can enjoy both. I just finished it and it was so much fun; a bit predictable, a smidge pulpy, but romantic, endearing and enjoyable. This is what you want to watch in the holiday season. Can't wait for season 2!
