A friend of mine had a cow that was, unfortunately, much smarter than average, and knew it. That last time we rounded them up, she tried to go around the 4wheelers several times, tried to roll a 4wheeler over, and charged one of the hands. One of the guys finally had to roll her with a quad to keep her from killing someone. That was the third year she gave everyone grief, the worst year she'd given us problems, and she was in the first load to go to market that year. My friend knew she was going to kill someone eventually, and he didn't want that.

I grew up raising cows and alfalfa and some cows are wonderful, most are alright, but then there is always that one cow that always goes the wrong way, fights you and just does everything wrong. But I will say this, I loved raising cows and other animals; the best time of my life!!!
